CoffeeFiend
I could answer too but I have no idea what you're asking for. I would have basically said the same thing as gunsmokingman but seemingly that's not what you wanted to know. Do you mean something like a calculator? Yzöwl
My guess is that they want to create a calculator type application using Visual Basic 2008.The problem is that they have no idea how to do it so they want someone else to start them off!I'm feeling especially generous today so think of it as your birthday. CoffeeFiend
what i meant that how to do accounting softwareIf you don't have the expertize in house to accomplish this then most likely you don't have the access to all the specialized accounting-related knowledge either (complicated tax laws and what not) so it might not be such a great idea in the first place. Nevermind there's already all kinds of great apps filling this field like quickbooks. Doing something like this would require a full time team of programmers for several years. Programs like Excel have well over a million lines of code.
HighDarkTemplar
Why not try Open Office? It sounds like it will fill your needs and it can import/export from excel. However, keep in mind that the new xml-based format is not supported yet (or was last time i tried openoffice which was about 2 years ago)...
