3 mobile dongle help! :)

Is it possible to get my 3 mobile dongle working on win 98? the installer is on the dongle and works for 7 vista and xp. i live in an area with no broadband and have to use xp to connect but i really want to use 98 iv tried kernel ex but have no sucsess any help would be MUCH appreciated as i love 98 and hate using anything else!!
