Trying to get a game to run on Windows 2000

Recommended Posts

Hello!

I'm trying to get a game called "Blockland" to run on Windows 2000 Pro SP4. The game installs fine, but when I run it, I get this error:

post-290980-127279714996_thumb.png

Translated to english it means "Cannot find procedure startup adress GetAdaptersAdresses in the DLL-file iphlpapi.dll".

I used linux to replace the file with one I found on a DLL download website, but I ended up make Windows unbootable.

So, now I wonder if anyone here please could help me fix this? To make matters worse, I have a swedish version of Windows.

Thanks in advance :)

Hi Svenne.

KDW doesn't need install wrapper files in system folder .

* bin\plus\iphlpapi.dll copy to \Program Files\Blockland.

* run kdllinst.exe and Check (after reboot.) EZ KD Registry if not checked.

* Set EzInstall folder \Program Files\Blockland

* press ws2_32 button and EzInstall button.

* run Blockland.

It may work fine on Win2000. :)

Isn't KDW language dependant? I'd prefer to not have English mixed into my system.
