Built in Mic in Laptop stopped working

So I have a Toshiba L500D series Laptop, and I was looking through the setting for Recording devices, and suddenly, they disappeared, and "No Devices found" or something along those lines has taking its place.

So what happened, and can it be fixed?

Try reinstalling the audio driver, or use an older one that you know works for sure.

Also make sure the on-board audio device is enabled in the BIOS
