Hi all,

I'm new here, like the rest. Not that I shall visit this place for many times. I'm an invalid person. Until the year 2000 all was normal. I was divorced one time and had married again (for 5 years).

Then one day I walked with the dog on the beach and sprained my ankle. Four months later in the hospital they found 'CRPS type-1'. I had a rehabilitation-time of another 4 months, but it wasn't going well. I had to walk with crutchs and a year later I had a car-accident and after I got from the hospital (in Italy) I had a Whiplash. In 2007 another hospital found by me the 'Syndrome of Klinefelter' and this year a hospital found that I have AD(H)D (the silence sort). Because of the pain (CRPS & Klinefelter) I have a 24/7-pain and problems to fall asleep. Sometimes I don't sleep 48 - 72 hours without a pause. In 2005 I could not walk on the street/outside, so I got a wheelchair and a scootmobiel/invalid-car from the comunity. I lost the in 2000 my wife, because "the grass was for her on another place greener" (cheating). I lost my job, I worked 24-years by the same boss as an offsetprinter and I almost lost my own house, because must pay her the half of my house. I was born with the 'Syndrome of Klinefelter' and my parents (but also my school/sport-teacher, home/hospital-doctors, family) had no pay attention about the easy to find marks of this disease. 1:500 boys get Klinefelter and the best time to find the characterizes is during the puberty (8 - 13 years), not as I'm.... 53-years old. Now I use as medication testoteron, but it's not a solution, the disease is for live..... I'm not happy with it, but I cannot change it.

Because of the pain I get medication, but not enough... I have also another illnesses but these have the most inpact of my life. Now I'm declared unfit, so I get also illness-money for 70%, so I can pay my mortgage. In the same time as I got the wheelchair I get bedridden, because I had not enough energy. In winter- period (when the temperture comes below the 12 degrees Celcius) I stay at home. Then it's too cold for my CRPS to go outside.

Since the Comodore64/PC-1 I work with computers, most of the time with MS Windows, but now I have dual OS with Ubuntu 9.10 (Linux). During my illness period I've learned to make websites and near my bed I have my laptop. My life is changed after the year 2000, but I'm happy with my new girlfriend Marijke and we choose only the good things of the life.... only what I can.... and where I have the energy for.

Sorry, If my English isn't not right written.... it's only my school/holiday/computer English, some words comes from a dictionary....!

Hi, Ruudino.

I began to use the internet 4 years ago. The person who taught me how to use a browser to surf the net told me this first lesson: "Never let people know about your personal information. The less they know about you, the better it will be!" I have done exactly what he said, and I feel very comfortable when talking to strange people on the net.

I've chatted to a lot of people in many countries and what I 've told them is 99,9% of the truth , I can tell them what I like and don't like, I let them know what I am good at and what I am bad at. I answer all of their questions except 3 things about myself: age, gender, and nationality! However, to people I meet in real life I can only keep my age secret!

Well, I don't know what to choose in the poll, but it's quite an interesting question.

I wish you and your Marijke good luck.

That is interesting at least to me. I also have Klinefelter "Syndrome." I use quotes only because it isn't an actual disease, but a genetic coded difference from the average. As an example, my chromosomes are XXYY. In addition I have an extra set of chromosomes on my DNA as well. This was discovered when I had to get all tested up before I could attend college. They found these things and had me go in for all these tests but after about 6-8 months I withdrew from all testing. To this date I have had no problems at all and do not take medication for anything. I don't even take asprin for headaches.

Research into Klinefelter is not 100% yet and the medical field does not know everything about it. I am going to say that it is likely that there are different effects it can have on different people, especially based on your story but your other thing (I am not familiar with it) may not help any.
