how to re install the windows home in my compaq mini110

Hi I am newbie in this forum , can any one tell me how to install the windows home edition in my my compaq mini110 , unfortunately due to some virus I format the entire hardisk , so when I am trying to install the windows home in my mini , I am getting blue screen error , so can any tell me the exact procedure and now I am booting from usb dvd rom ,

What is the error you are getting? Does HP have drivers available for this model on their website?

Do you mean you erased the recovery partition as well (as I guess it has one)?

If not, check you manual for reinstallation (pressing a given key at startup)

If yes, are you sure you can really start from that external DVD ? Do you have the cd you need ? I never installed a compute from a USB dvd so I don't even know if it's possible. If any trouble you could check the forum "install XP from USB and its tools (to get XP installation files on a USB stick and be able to start from it and to actually install XP).
