Hey guys, I am having a little problem installing a nlite'd version of WinXP(32-bit) Pro on my HP Mini 311(netbook). I have already partitioned the HDD(SATA), so no worries there. I have tried both WinSetupfromUSB and USB_MultiBoot_10 (have used this the most), but I get the same problem...neither can detect any partition besides the usb flash drive.

I looked at this guide, and changed partition(1) to partition(2) in the boot.ini file but I still got the same result.

I've also looked at this post, where someone has a similar problem to mine but it is a bit confusing. I have installed all the drivers from the HP Mini 311 driver page , and to my knowledge there is no SATA driver there.

So...where do I go from here?

Guess I should have googled for the sata driver... :blushing:

Thanks a lot ilko_t, I just downloaded the sata drivers...hopefully I can get it to work.

It worked! I installed the IDE driver from that link you gave me and used the Textmode version of the driver and it worked perfectly! Thanks once again ilko t :D
