Nothing much new under the sun, AFAIK it works on 9x/Me, 2K and XP too:

I know how to display it, but I don't know how to change text of it.

Example: It will say

Windows XP Professional

Build 2600.xpsp_sp2_gdr.090206-1233(Service Pack 2)

I want to change text to:

Windows 7

Evaluation Copy. Build 7100

How can I change it?

I ve found a problem.

I can edit build number with Resource Hacker by openning win32k.sys

I ve changed it and saved this file in My Documents folder because I can't delete original win32k.sys it's in windows process

I have opened replacer:

http://www3.telus.net/_/replacer/

tool that removes original windows XP system files and adds edited system files

I ve replaced original win32k.sys with my edited system file, but when I ve rebooted my computer the Windows couldn't start :blushing: and showed blue error:

Problem is in system file that is not valid in windows process

Is there a software who can replace system file valid that windows can start normaly? :blushing:
