Hi All,

I have a NexStar 3 External 3.5 inch Hard Drive enclosure which I have been using since 2006 without any problems until now. This is an 80 gb HD,of which only about 15 GB have been used. The other day I tried to add stuff for backup, and I was promptly advised that the disk was full ! Of course this is not so and would like to know how to fix this new problem. Can someone help? Thanks.

Is it possible that "stuff" involved a file bigger than 4Gig and that the drive is formatted FAT32 ?

What happens if you try to open it to see its contents?

Hi again,

When I open my External HD enclosure,no problem there! I see all my stuff and, I can open Folders,

extract ect...the problem is I can't add anything in there!

This being a 80 gb HD,I checked the properties, and it shows 56.7 gb used!I then checked in the Partition

and it shows 74.53 gb capacity with 13 gb free space! What do you think? Thanks
