Has anybody figured out how to change the background of the animated Windows flag on the 7 bootscreen (it it black) ?

It is a digitally signed file! use unsinger then do all of your edits, go to tucows and buy a signing certificate and resign the file! John

which file is signed?

bootres.dll. I even got a digital signature and it didn't work, any one have any ideas??? John

Updated new Base file, download 7background.rar and extract to your 7background folder

You need both 7background.rar and 7background_dlls.rar.

Base Files for 'replace Powder Puff MS Image' I'll change this one with New stuff

The 7background_dlls.rar are 1 time download unless others are added.

maxXPsoft, I was going to give this a try on my next manual build but cannot find the 7background_dlls.rar. The 7background.rar file is on Mediafire and I DLed it OK. I was also wondering if it is OK to copy the same .dll file to the System32 and SysWOW64 folders. The two original files are not the same. I can modify the files myself if I know what to change. Thanks, John.
