Does a registry tool exist?

I was wondering...

Is there an application that could be run from a hard/flash drive that would remove all registry entries made while it was active, when it is it closed or shutdown?

Not exactly a registry based tool, but I compile applications for portable use with ThinApp. It creates a virtual registry and all changes the app makes occur only in the virtual registry.

Xenocode works kinda like ThinApp where you package your application and settings. It creates a "portable" application that leaves no settings behind.

Wouldn't, more simply ERUNT do?

You make a copy of the Registry on the stick, you do whatever you want to do and you restore the Registry copy when leaving.
