Problem with Installation Sequence

Hello,

i'm using WPI to install software and i have a problem with the installation sequence.

First WPI installs Office 2000 and the Office 2000 installation runs and then WPI try to install Outlook 2003.

Then the installation from Outlook 2003 cannot start because it says that already a installation is running.

The installation from Outlook 2003 should start if the installation of Office 2000 finished.

How can i resolve that?

Can you run an installation with just those 2 and post the logfile?

I had an idea on how to solve this, but, my computer crashed yet again. Maybe for good this time. It will be alittle bit before I get to this or anything else.

Yes.

The log and the error is in the attachment.

It seems that this problem is only at Windows 7.

i have he same problem too, but now with office. i'm facing it with all Progs.

wpi installs them at the same time

i hope we can find help : )

Go to your first entry in the install order and add 2 commands of "notepad.exe" in a row at the top. If WPI stops and waits for you to close the first notepad before the second copy opens, then it is not WPI.
