puntoMX Posted November 23, 2009 Posted November 23, 2009 Yes, that's normal with most 3G USB modems, first it mounts the modem as a thumb drive, after that it dismounts and starts the modem it self.I wish they gave you the option just to connect the modem and use it as a modem only, I for example have to uninstall the modem every time I start up my notebook and do the install process over and over again on Windows 7. I use a Nokia by the way.
