TheAnonymous
If I have disabled any and all sort of power management features, is it safe to disable this service? Mainly, will Windows boot?

TheAnonymous
I apolgize for the dp, it was completely accidental. I was suffering spontaneously induced latency issues with my internet and it looked like my post wasn't made, so I tried again. Thanks for the link. I'm well aware of black viper, but unfortunately he doesn't provide any extra information that the Services window doesn't. beats
Thanks for the link. I'm well aware of black viper, but unfortunately he doesn't provide any extra information that the Services window doesn't.Unlike many other services, he leaves the Power Service set to Automatic in all his configurations (Safe, Tweaked & Bare-bones). For a good reason. If you disable the Power Service, it will not only stop all power managment functionality, but also Core Paring, Windows Audio and the Windows Audio EndPoint Builder. So you will have no sound, nor an Audio Driver.
