Guest Posted October 29, 2009 Posted October 29, 2009 http://windowsx.50webs.com/updates.html You can speed things up by using Windows Update Downloader.Sometimes they are a bit behind with the WUD lists so just compare what you download against my list to see if anythings missing.

beats Posted October 29, 2009 Posted October 29, 2009 Microsoft releases ISO's every month.... see:http://support.microsoft.com/kb/913086
Guest Posted October 29, 2009 Posted October 29, 2009 Is this to make an up to date ISO or to update a computer?
cluberti Posted October 29, 2009 Posted October 29, 2009 The ISOs are for updating machines that are offline or can't get to a WU server, but they're also useful for grabbing all the updates as well. I personally use WUD, but the ISO would work as well.
Alpaca Portrait Posted October 29, 2009 Posted October 29, 2009 What's the preferred method for month-to-month updating of an already up to date system but you don't want to use the Windows Update website with Internet Explorer?
cluberti Posted October 29, 2009 Posted October 29, 2009 Depends, really - considering XP and up don't need IE to do automatic updates, not sure why it's a problem. Autopatcher might be a viable solution for you.
Guest Posted October 29, 2009 Posted October 29, 2009 Every 2nd Tuesday of each month MS releases a security bulletin summary. For example http://www.microsoft.com/technet/security/...n/ms09-oct.mspxFind the bulletins that pertain to your OS and applications and there will be download links there. You can also save all that work and take a look at my change log each month. See link in signature.
