after having installed windows 7 on the same hard-drive i use for win98 , i do not see the line to boot in msdos or win98 .

anybody knows how it is possible to add it ?

I don't think :unsure: that a Win9x/7 multiboot is possible "directly".

You may need an "intermediate" loader, such as grub4dos or the 2K/XP/2003 NTLDR+BOOT.INI.

thx that was what to do : use a linux tool to boot windows [98]

that makes me want to drop w7 and switch to linux

WHICH Linux tool? :unsure:

Just out of curiosity - does Win-7 allow itself to be installed on a FAT32 volume? Vista?
