grabby
I am using WPI 7.7 on an xp disc and I keep getting:Could not open History Filefile c:\history.jserror number 70Before I was having the problem with using the .hta file instead of .exe file. When i first switched over to the .exe file it worked just fine and would install. Now I am getting the error again. I have xp sp 3 with ie 8 slip streamed in with nlite. WPI is started with runonce. Any ideas to why I have started to get the error again? Thanks a bunch.

Kelsenellenelvian
I think I found your issueYou are using a svcpack installer...Goto Ryanvm's and grab a true addon for IE8 and try that.If I remember right when integrating IE svcpack-style it doesn't quite fully work untill after 2 reboots. Something about the reg keys not being fully entered. Edited October 26, 2009 by Kelsenellenelvian

chaoticyeshua
Hi grabby. In order to fix the Office 2007 issue, you need to, before launching WPI, set these registry keys to "no"HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main\DisableScriptDebuggerIEHKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main\Disable Script DebuggerI hope this helps.
