VNTEC Posted October 22, 2009 Share Posted October 22, 2009 I run a business and i got screwed by 2 people already claiming they can fix my computer by reformatting it.. Nobody has fully reformatted it with the correct drivers. My computer is a Toshiba A215-S7413. It was originally a Vista computer now its on windows XP. I bought some stupid cd that claims to have all the drivers but i still do not have an audio driver and the pcs performance is really slow and the screen resolution is not what i hoped for. Please help me anyone and i am willing to paypal anyone for their help. Thanks so much.. You MIGHT want to look into win7.The problem is that on this page there are NO drivers for Windows XP besides the SD Card and Software modem.I have found the rest of the drivers elsewhere.I'll try to go back and post all the links when I'm done installing this laptop.I think everybody can reach the same conclusion as me - Toshiba did this on purpose. Tripredacus Posted August 9, 2010 Share Posted August 9, 2010 Actually a lot of companies released "Vista-only" notebooks at the time of launch just to sell Vista. MSI and ECS have done it too. Also don't forget you can see if you can get the drivers from DriverPacks. I downloaded them all and just do a string search for Hardware IDs.Moving to drivers forum.
