ok i get this error at the BIOS. and also i can't use the floppy drive.

this is what i have done so far:

in the BIOS settings:

floppy controler-enabled

diskette A - 1.44mb, 3 1/2

write protect- disabled

checked the IDE cables, power supply cables. and floppy for the write lock switch.

i used several disks, and even switched out the drive.

and i uninstalled the floppy disk drive drivers, and floppy disk drive controler drivers...rebooted, and reinstalled. still the problems persist. i'm not sure what to do next.

any ideas? please and thank you.

well just out of...i don't know what. i went back and double checked everything, and there was a break in one of the lines in the IDE cable...and i just replaced it, and now i got it working again. sorry about all the trouble.
