laptop battery not charging

Featured Replies

Hi,

I have ThinkPad R32.

The battery won't charge at all in Vista Home Basic.

I wonder if the battery is dead. How can I know for sure?

Thanks.

Its dead IMO

BTW Windows 7 is much smarter, I too have a dead battery and Windows 7 knows it and says so

To be sure install Windows 7 (RC is fine) and see what it tells you

On another note you may qualify for a FREE replacement battery, I did and I got a free one from TOSHIBA to replace my dead one (its in the mail)
