User Accounts

Featured Replies

Hi guys :hello:

Look I am sorry to ask a question about user accounts...haven't had this problem before. Just been helping a friend reinstall Vista Business after a crash and on install we did the usual and created the user account..but without password.

I left the computer on update and when I came back it had logged the user out and there were two account icons with the same name?

I am on a computer with my girlfriend and we have two accounts and this has never happened to me - but one user and two login account icons with the same name?

Is this because we didn't set the user password on adding his account in the first place...and that Vista automatically logs into that account?

I looked under user accounts and there is only his account but if he is logged out he has two icons to choose from?

Can anyone shed some light on this for me?

Can you log in with both users?

Are they both password protected?
