I was a user of Asus p5sd2-vm system which has 512 mb of ram which runs on 667 mhz before.. and recently i upgrade my ram replacing my previously with 2gb transcend 800 mhz. but most of time i m facing a error i m not sure what is that.. but i think that is due to 800mhz ram coz my board support only 677 mhz of ram according to the catalog of motherboard..

Am I right? or some this else doing this

And how can i solve this problem.. upgrading the bios of motherboard can solve this problem... after upgrading the bios does my board support 800 mhz ram.

do run the memtest or maybe prime95 to test if the ram is stable.

you may need to either decrease fsb, loosen timings, or increase voltage to make it more stable, assuming the sticks themselves are good.
