Click on the processes tab and watch the activity. Watch explorer.exe for CPU and Memory usage. Check the event logs also.

I opened task mgr killed explorer.exe and start it again but no change it continue restarting.

MagicAndre1981 Posted September 14, 2009 Posted September 14, 2009 explorer.exe is fine, but a shell extension may be the issue.Run ShellExView and disable all NON-Microsoft Extensions and look it the crashes are gone.
