i am having bf.vbs in my external hdd, wondering if its a malware? i happen to see frm http://www.sitepoint.com/forums/showthread.php?t=158597 is from PEAR maybe its because i installed PEAR?

All it does is open a folder browse window and then tell you if what you selected exists or not.

Yes it is because of PEAR. But once you delete it, it will not come back (unlike most malwares). So just simply delete it.
