ATI Catalyst center integration

Recommended Posts

Posted (edited)

I recently bought a HP Compaq 615, which has a ATI Radeon HD 3200 graphics card, and THIS driver.

The problem is that it requires .NET Framework 2.0 to be installed prior to the driver.

I got an All-in-One .NET add-on from Ryan's forums for integration with nLite, but I want to be sure about this:

If I slipstream the driver (unpacked), what is the order for installation during an nLited Windows setup? Will the .NET Framework add-on install first, allowing the ATI driver to continue freely, or I have to find some way to install the ATI driver through RunOnce? I also found an .inf file in the ATI driver which instructs setup whether to check for .NET Framework or not, but I don't want to meddle with that, afraid of other possible errors.

Thank you

Run2 is just my way of scripting XP x64 installs, it's not a standard part of nLite.

All that matters is that .Net 2.0 has been installed (by whatever means) before you install the Catalyst Control Center.
