Sp0iLedBrAt Posted August 31, 2009 Posted August 31, 2009 (edited) I recently bought a HP Compaq 615, which has a ATI Radeon HD 3200 graphics card, and THIS driver. The problem is that it requires .NET Framework 2.0 to be installed prior to the driver.I got an All-in-One .NET add-on from Ryan's forums for integration with nLite, but I want to be sure about this:If I slipstream the driver (unpacked), what is the order for installation during an nLited Windows setup? Will the .NET Framework add-on install first, allowing the ATI driver to continue freely, or I have to find some way to install the ATI driver through RunOnce? I also found an .inf file in the ATI driver which instructs setup whether to check for .NET Framework or not, but I don't want to meddle with that, afraid of other possible errors.Thank you Edited October 4, 2009 by Sp0iLedBrAt
Kurt_Aust Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 You can slipsteam the driver and then install the catalyst control center later, see this topic (posts 2 & 4).
Sp0iLedBrAt Posted September 3, 2009 Author Posted September 3, 2009 Thank you, I will try that. I also have to learn some more on Run2 :-)
Kurt_Aust Posted September 4, 2009 Posted September 4, 2009 Run2 is just my way of scripting XP x64 installs, it's not a standard part of nLite. All that matters is that .Net 2.0 has been installed (by whatever means) before you install the Catalyst Control Center.
Sp0iLedBrAt Posted October 4, 2009 Author Posted October 4, 2009 (edited) Edit: Solved, I found the /k switch thanks to THIS POST Edited October 4, 2009 by Sp0iLedBrAt
