PDF Files

Using Vista Home Basic. When I attempt to download a PDF file, the file appears on Note Pad with unintelligible writing. Not true when using Firefox or Opera, only when using AOL.

Do you have the Acrobat Reader installed? If so, it is possible you lost your file association. Try opening Acrobat Reader manually, and then do a File->Open on the PDF file to see if it can read it.
