Problem with grapic card driver

Recommended Posts

Posted

Hi,

i want to use XP x64, and everything works perfect so far, the only problem is, that the driver for my ATI HD 4800 won't install... in the device manager i have a yellow asteric on the card after the first boot... i think maybe it depends on in.

Can you take a look on my Last Session file? Maybe i removed a component to much, that is needed for the driver? Thanks a lot :)

I see "Integrate Drivers" in the selected options but no [Drivers] section in the ini file. Are your drivers supposed to be included in XP SP2 ?

Or is it when you install them after your first boot that you can't install tem ?

It doesn't look like you've attached your full "Last Session.ini", in any case see this topic for an example of what you should see (especially posts 2 & 4).

I only integrated the RAID driver for my hdd... thats why i didn't put it in the codebox... i think that it depends on an nlited component... but i'll have to wait until sunday...

Thanks Kurt :) I only removed the keybord/languages from the session ini, and my integrated raid driver... i thought i removed a component to much with nlite... i will try several other configs, but it has too wait until sunday...

Maybe you removed not enough - I always remove all these old driver-stuff,

which is integrated in XP since it`s been released.
