W3bbo
I've been working on Vize, and it seems my resource patching framework is sort-of incompatible with Windows Vista's system files:For ordinary files, patching resources is handled fine, nothing special; but Vista's system files have an "RC Config" set which restricts how resources can be modified when using the Win32 resource functions (which is indeed a right problem).I'm looking for ways around this. This problem doesn't affect ResHacker because it parses Win32 PE/COFF files by itself (which is why it's incompatible with x64). I'll keep you informed. W3bbo
Just a quick announcement to say I've developed a workaround (by removing the RC Config whilst it saves it, then restoring the RC Config immediately afterwards).
Maxfutur
And i think that you should post this thread in Vize forum...Let'me ask you a question related to vize:Could be possible to Vize vista from another OS?Something like running XP or 2000...That question came out because im running xp from USB since a few weeks...
