Rick Posted September 15, 2001 Posted September 15, 2001 I want to upgrade my processor from Duron 700 to Athlon 1.4. I found prices for the chip ranging from $250 all the way down to $120. I always look on computershopper and I have come across some very good deals that way. The highest price was from gateway.com and the lowest is from a site called Thompson Computer Warehouse or something similar. How can they sell a chip so much cheaper than the others and are there different grades that are made?
