I want to upgrade my processor from Duron 700 to Athlon 1.4. I found prices for the chip ranging from $250 all the way down to $120. I always look on computershopper and I have come across some very good deals that way. The highest price was from gateway.com and the lowest is from a site called Thompson Computer Warehouse or something similar. How can they sell a chip so much cheaper than the others and are there different grades that are made? The link to Thompson is:

What do you think?

gateway are always expensive, they suck!!! rip off merchants, if you look at the prices of their machines they are also sky high prices

Where do I look to find out if I have 200FSB or 266? I looked up my specs on Mirconpc's site and it gives everything except that.
