pointertovoid Posted June 25, 2009 Posted June 25, 2009 Hello again,In the case I wouldn't find one single convenient keyboard to type in many languages, I consider having several keyboards connected at the same time to the computer. How many keyboards can I connect and use? 1, 2, 6...?Is this possible with Ps2 connectors and some splitter? Or Usb only? Are all keyboards active at the same time?Do I need to switch the layout applied by Windows when I go from one keyboard to another? Thanks!
Ponch Posted June 25, 2009 Posted June 25, 2009 How many keyboards can I connect and use? 1, 2, 6...?as much as you have ports (usb or PS2) Is this possible with Ps2 connectors and some splitter? Or Usb only?both. Only PS2 needs to be plugged at boot (no plug&play)Are all keyboards active at the same time?yes but with one same config (also for NumLock-ShiftLock)Do I need to switch the layout applied by Windows when I go from one keyboard to another?so yes. Use Alt+Shift to switch languages and corresponding keyboard
