HowdyDoody Posted June 1, 2009 Posted June 1, 2009 I just did a new install. Now I come up with this. What did I do to cause it? My last install just shut on down.
johnhc Posted June 1, 2009 Posted June 1, 2009 HowdyDoody, no information - no clue. Please attach (not paste) your Last Session.ini. Make sure to always start with a fresh copy of your CD files/folders, do all your work in one nLite session and integrate only one SP. Please report when you have a solution, so others can benefit. Enjoy, John.
dencorso Posted June 1, 2009 Posted June 1, 2009 It seems you've removed both ACPI and APM. If so, then the OS has no means to turn itself off...
johnhc Posted June 2, 2009 Posted June 2, 2009 HowdyDoody, I don't see anything I think would cause your problem. You do need to remove the Tweak "Explorer-Launch folder windows in a separate process" because it exposes a Windows bug, and please install the latest version of nLite, 1.4.9.1. I don't think this is the source of your shut down message. Are you sure you have started with a fresh source and followed the other items I spelled out in my first reply? Enjoy, John.

HowdyDoody Posted June 30, 2009 Author Posted June 30, 2009 Problem solved! Duh.I had to install as an ACPI computer.
