external links to programs in browsers.

when i click on externals links to programs inside browsers,

links like p2p programs: sopcast, tvu, etc. also wmp links.

it opens blank tab first. after that the program start.

(it happen with any browser: IE, Firefox, Avant... )

how to get rid of this blank tab...?

I know exactly what you mean. You may want to change your tabbed browsing to have "open links in same tab" instead of new tab.

no, i mean click on links just open unnecessary blank tab.... on any browser...

here firefox:

click on play.... (1)

.....(2) unnecessary blank tab open....

also internet explorer....

In Firefox, if you change it to open in new window, a new window will open and quickly close and show a save box. Try that method, otherwise you need to look into the cfg file to see if you can change something in there.
