WUD.v.2.40 build 1299 will not start

Hi

OS: XPSP3x86 fully updated.

I have installed WUD.v.2.40 build 1299 try to run from desktop shortcut or program folder exe & nothing happens.

Just will not start or do anything.

Uninstalled & installed.v.2.30 build 988 & that works without any problem, but would prefer the newer version.

Can anyone help ?

I've also had this problem with the newest version not starting..

I tried the older v2.30 and it starts fine. Anyone know of a workaround

or a fix for making the newest version start, or is it a bug in the program?

I got no problem using v2.4 but I have not installed the earlier version before.

Yeah, same problem 2.4 doesnt work for me but 2.3 does

What operating systems are you running? And updated to what level?
