Edit windows file from Command line?

Hi All,

I was just wondering .... is there a to edit a windows txt file from the command line on a windows 2003 server box? Something similar to the 'touch' command in UNIX?

This is a relic from old folks like myself, but you could use edlin, it was still included with Windows Server 2003. Take a look at the command help.
