Can I add nlite addon in this.. even if they are 32bit applicaions.( I specially want 64bit in these, Kels_Bonus_CPL, Cab-tool, Unlocker, Vista Cursors)2. Can i add V'ISO_b8.2.2 to this i386 installation? (like I did to my previous winxp installations)3. Where can I find a Driver Installer for 64bit like the one found in eXperience CDs? That installs all drivers with one sweet click 4. Tell me a site for x64 downloads, like filehippo ?5. Where can I find the Post SP@ updates for 64bit hotfixes. RegardsRollcage
Tripredacus Posted April 16, 2009 Posted April 16, 2009 For nLite questions, have you checked out our nLite forum? You should be able to get all your 64bit Windows Updates from the Microsoft Download page.
johnhc Posted April 16, 2009 Posted April 16, 2009 rollcage, sounds like you mostly just need to do some research. Kurt_Aust has a great tutorial for x64 installs. AddOns will need to be made for x64 - see RyanVm forums for more information. AddOns are really easy to create, I made one for IE8, here. For individual programs, research. Plenty of sites offer DLs for x64, FileHippo is one. Have fun and come back with specific questions and problems. Enjoy, John.
Guest Posted April 16, 2009 Posted April 16, 2009 I'll answer what I can:You can add nLite addons that are based upon switchless installers regardless of architecture. Windows will determine whether to emulate 32-bit when the switchless installer is executed from SvcPack.inf or RunOnce.Slipstream addons (also known as direct integration addons) are specific to architecture; they must be built for x64. I'm familiar with a few addons and tools.BTW, Unlocker will not install on XP x64. An x64 version does not exist. V'ISO is now known as XPtsp and is actively developed by dougiefresh and bober. So far, it is not compatible with XP x64.I'm not familiar with eXperience CDs. As far as I know, no such utility exists for XP x64.I don't know of one central location to download x64 software. You can use Google to search for "x64 software" and find many lists which include free software, such as one on neowin.net.TranceEnergy has compiled a list of current post-SP2 updates on RyanVM's forum which has its own subforum dedicated to XP x64. You'll also find an update pack full of post-SP2 updates.
