johnhc Posted March 7, 2009 Posted March 7, 2009 astrotouf, please do a search for ICH8M and check out this post. Here is the Intel driver DL site. Your English is fine. Good luck, John.
submix8c Posted March 7, 2009 Posted March 7, 2009 (edited) go to www.intel.com select your region (if not defaulted) and search ICH8M. It shows (for me) -Software -Intel® Viiv™ Software version 1.0 (for use with Windows* XP)Intel Viiv Software version 1.5 (for use with Windows XP)Intel Viiv Software version 1.6 (for use with Windows Vista*)Intel Viiv Software version 1.7 (for use with Windows Vista)Note: PCs with Intel® 965GM/PM, Intel® G33, and Intel® P35 Express Chipsets, install Intel Viiv Software version 1.7 or later.Usually all you have to do is provide the MoBo-id and you will be provided a list of drivers etc.edit - oops! read above post. good enough there! Fernando 1 Posted March 7, 2009 Posted March 7, 2009 @ astrotouf:Welcome at MSFN Forum! You neither need to search nor to extract the suitable textmode driver for your Intel ICH8M chipset mainboard. Just follow johnhc's advice and go here. There you will find the driver and a guide how to integrate it.Good luck!Fernando
