You can go all the way up to 77.72, or if you're more adventurous, the unofficial 82.69.

But dont remove nVidia drivers with add/remove or unistall. Do it using the great freeware Driver Cleaner Pro Version 1.5 (*NOT* the for-pay Driver Cleaner .NET !!!). HTH

and i aways just over the drivers with new oness but the old ones get left in the nvidia folder

The older drivers, teh better for old hardware. I stick with my 45.28 beta on FX 5600XT and you should too:

They run simple fastest on old cards, while all optimalizations in new drivers are made for the NEW cards for obvious reasons

well i dont use Detonators drivers i use force ware

But Detonator became Forceware since 5x.xx
