Thanks to Sony, Technical Service wants a huge amount of money to fix it.. And thanks again to sony, this model (VGN-CR420E) only supports Vista. lesha111 Posted February 27, 2009 Share Posted February 27, 2009 drivers problem is a myth. of course sony won't provide drivers for xp, 2k etc.but you can find drivers for each laptop component chipset, video, card reader, wifi.I have experienced similar problem with Acer 5570Z.but acer - is only a plastic case and label on pc.chipset and graphics made by intelwifi - AtherosI just downloaded Intel chipset software and Atheros driver for XP and now I have full-functional notebook designed for Vista Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
