Quick question to save my time.

Can Vlite create a Vista installation iso, which can install the system without any restart?

I have restart problem in my notebook, so I need this kind of a feature..

No, Vista requires a few restarts to install..

I poured some coffee on it and it doesn't restart any more. Thanks to Sony, Technical Service wants a huge amount of money to fix it.. And thanks again to sony, this model (VGN-CR420E) only supports Vista. I can maybe install XP or Linux distros, but no drivers around.

drivers problem is a myth. of course sony won't provide drivers for xp, 2k etc.

but you can find drivers for each laptop component chipset, video, card reader, wifi.

I have experienced similar problem with Acer 5570Z.

but acer - is only a plastic case and label on pc.

chipset and graphics made by intel

wifi - Atheros

I just downloaded Intel chipset software and Atheros driver for XP and now I have full-functional notebook designed for Vista

throw it out, get a new laptop

won't be worth the hassle if it's damaged
