puntoMX Posted February 19, 2009 Posted February 19, 2009 Would it be possible to get a Y-Splitter for the VGA connection and get a 3rd LCD connected or does he need a 2nd VGA card?Yes there is, Matrox has it's Tripplehead2Go in a VGA and DVI version. I think that Tain (super moderator) still uses the VGA one.
ceez Posted February 20, 2009 Author Posted February 20, 2009 puntoMX so you're saying the only way is to get a matrox card or that box? adding a y-splitter to one of the 2 outputs might not?
puntoMX Posted February 20, 2009 Posted February 20, 2009 No, not a Matrox card, it's indeed the box that splits the signal over the 3 screens, so, your video card will see he box as a monitor itself, the box just splits it onto 3 monitors after that.
