xbl Posted January 25, 2009 Posted January 25, 2009 (edited) IDK wuts going on with my computer. The task bar and desktop keep refreshing everyone few seconds. It continues to freeze the computer making it hard for me to do work. I noticed whenever it refreshes....my browser, AIM, and anything that isnt part of the Windows XP stays. If i were to open My Documents or Paint or Control Panel when it refreshes it will go away. And no the bar is not on Autohide. ive checked. Ive attached screenshots. nitroshift Posted January 25, 2009 Posted January 25, 2009 Looks like you are having issues with explorer.exe being infected. Run a full malware scan on your pc (Spybot Search&Destroy, AdAware, HiJackThis and a good anti-virus).
mara- Posted January 25, 2009 Posted January 25, 2009 Please read Forum Rule 12.Also, I would suggest Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware to scan your computer for malware. It's really good. Super Antispyware is also good. No offense to nitroshift, but I wouldn't try with AdAware. They are not good as they were.Cheers
