Is there a way to prevent messenger to start when outlook express 6 does?

Not that I know of, unless you want to remove messenger completely.

cant you just go into messanger options and un-check the start messanger on startup...?

Or better remove it an use trillion

1.In Outlook Express, on the Tools menu, click Options.

2.Clear the Automatically log on to your messenger service check box.

Or if you dont want it to startup with windows

1.In Outlook Express, on the Tools menu, click your messenger service, and then click Options.

2.On the Preferences tab, clear the Run this program when Windows starts check box.
