Octopuss
Tell me, is it normal for both SP1 and a MUI pack to take almost two hours each??? My PC was also choking like hell. Wtf, 2GB of RAM should be enough for this :-O
MagicAndre1981
2 hours? It depends on your specs. What Hardware do you have?
Octopuss
Overclocked E8400, 2GB of 1066MHz DDR2, ATI 4870, 1TB Samsung Spinpoint HDD.The PC was choking like hell, there were virtually no applications running aside from vLite and yet everything was slow as hell. I really hate this Vista behavior - filling all memory just because it is available for useless stuff. But the disk was not always swapping, reading and writing. It still took ages though. I don't get it.edit: was running Vista64 Ultimate (vlited a little - actually a lot hehe) Edited December 27, 2008 by TheWalrus
JatinBeniwal
yes it is possible to integrate sp1 into 64 bit vista under xp. try to use vista updates integrator. it integrates sp1 into windows vista. Not sure either it works under xp x86 or not but it works under xp x64
Octopuss
apparently only under 64bit...
MagicAndre1981
hypothetically it should be possible to integrate the x64 Sp1/2 files under x86 Windows if you use the x86 Servicing Stack instaed of the x64 Servicing Stack. I told this Dino last year, but because he has no time he can't test and integrate this into vLite.
