deheugden Posted December 14, 2008 Posted December 14, 2008 guys, i got 2 pc's(dell,hp) and 1 notebook(hp). They got different drivers offcourse. Is it possible to creat 1 unatended install for them with the right drivers????
Flip1001 Posted December 14, 2008 Posted December 14, 2008 You can if you use sysprep and mysysprep. If the notebook is a tabletpc then you probably can't since it is a different OS. If it is not a tablet, then you can have 1 image for all 3. Are all 3 using the same OS?
mr_smartepants Posted December 15, 2008 Posted December 15, 2008 Yes, use 1) RVMI to install updatepack. http://www.ryanvm.net/msfn/2) Nlite to tweak the unattended portion. http://www.nliteos.com3) RVMI to integrate my OEMSCAN addon for Dell/HP OEM pre-activation. http://siginetsoftware.com/forum/showthread.php?t=2724) Driverpacks.net for all drivers. http://www.driverpacks.net/
majormashup Posted December 19, 2008 Posted December 19, 2008 3) RVMI to integrate my OEMSCAN addon for Dell/HP OEM pre-activation. http://siginetsoftware.com/forum/showthread.php?t=272mr_smartepants, I'm getting a 500 internal server error on this link. I never knew this addon existed. I've been playing with unattended OEM xp builds for a collection of dell's for quite a while. after eventually giving up stripping out the original Dell reinstall's I learnt about PID's and OEM licensing etc. and built my own from a VLK disc with some changes to incorporate the OEMBIOS checking files, pidgen.dll etc. (instructions here) It would be really useful if I could make one disc for all of the main manufacturers. If you would be so kind as to repost a properly working link I'd be very very grateful!
