Scroll wheel problem

All of a sudden my mouse scroll wheel scrolls 3 lines. I want it to scroll one line only.

I set it to 1 line in Mouse Properties in Control Panel, but it still scrolls 3 lines.

I restarted the PC, but it still won't work.

How do I fix this?

OS: WinXP Pro 64-bit

Mouse: Wireless Laser 6000 Microsoft USB

Have you installed the software that came with the mouse? IntelliPoint I think it's called.

If so then either uninstall it or configure it in there.

You could install microsoft's TweakUI powertoy because I remember seeing options in there for what you require.
