phaolo Posted November 17, 2008 Posted November 17, 2008 (edited) Hello, I have some questions to ask:- will a Nlite version 1.5 be prepared?- can I use previous Nlite settings with the new versions?- I used both the 1.47 and the 1.4.9.1 to create a XP Pro DVD image, but the result in the second case was a unbootable ISO. How's that.. O_o Edited November 19, 2008 by phaolo
johnhc Posted November 17, 2008 Posted November 17, 2008 phaolo,I don't know. Hopefully nuhi will respond.Yes, they should work fine.I doubt this is an nLite problem. We would need more information if you wish for some help.Enjoy, John.
bledd Posted November 17, 2008 Posted November 17, 2008 when using a new version, you can usually load old presets (probably always?) without any problem..but when using a new version, always use a fresh xp source (sp3)
phaolo Posted November 19, 2008 Author Posted November 19, 2008 (edited) 1- ok, I was asking just to know if I can wait for the last stable Xp version (and 1.5 is a better number lol)2- good! So that is not a source of problems.3- It's quite strange as I've used the same procedures. I also always restart from clean source (SP2). What do you have to know, should I post my nlite file?Ah another problem is that in both I miss the Server (lanman) service, but I never removed it from the program.. johnhc Posted November 19, 2008 Posted November 19, 2008 phaolo, yes, please attach (not paste) your LastSession.ini. Enjoy, John.
phaolo Posted November 19, 2008 Author Posted November 19, 2008 (edited) Oh now I see why I had a dejavu. We already discussed the third point in another post but we didn't find a solution (service missing is a new discovery though). If you want the link, here it is: http://www.msfn.org/board/WinXp-Pro-SP3-sl...l&hl=phaoloSince then I didn't try again to make the ISO and I waited for a new possible nlite version.I'm pretty stuck also with RunOnceEx Edited November 19, 2008 by phaolo
