bookie32
Hi everyone Long time no see...LOL hope everyone is OK? I have been setting up file sharing with samba on Debian and Vista.I can see and open my Vista public folder on Debian but can't seem to get access to the folders in the public without sharing them. It gets a bit tedious sharing folders in folders that are in folders. On XP there is no such problems? On Linux you share a folder and allow user access right as you want to under folders etc.Is there a way to share a folder and all under folders without sharing on all levels?I have spent quite a lot of time looking at sharing and user access rights but can't seem to find a solution.bookie32 Edited November 16, 2008 by bookie32
