file sharing Vista /Linux

Hi everyone :hello: Long time no see...LOL hope everyone is OK? I have been setting up file sharing with samba on Debian and Vista.

I can see and open my Vista public folder on Debian but can't seem to get access to the folders in the public without sharing them. It gets a bit tedious sharing folders in folders that are in folders.

On XP there is no such problems? On Linux you share a folder and allow user access right as you want to under folders etc.

Is there a way to share a folder and all under folders without sharing on all levels?

I have spent quite a lot of time looking at sharing and user access rights but can't seem to find a solution.
