Size of slipstreamed DVD exceeds 4G

OS is Vi$ta Ultimate x64. I slip-streamed SP1, and then add all post-SP1 hotfixes to the image and integrated

Nvidia chipset drivers.

I build only one (Ultimate).

The ISO image becomes 4.6G.

How could I reduce the size to below 4G? What could be removed?

you need to remove some things like drivers and components you are not going to need.

I removed all printer drivers except HP, and some other useless drivers. That reduced the image to 4.1G.

What else big could I remove? um....

Well my vista hp iso is 620 MB. What are you going to use your pc for?

Game center. Media Player. Browser. Messaging. Word Processing. Calculator....

I think the real problem is the increased size after applying SP1 and post-SP1 hotfixes.

If I didn't applied SP1 or any hotfix and hit Apply changes, the DVD size was only 2.6G.

Applying SP1, and the size of the DVD increased to 3.5G. Added post-SP1 hotfixes, 4.6G!

Too bad I can't get rid of those Asian languages. Maybe I should kill Korean as I seldom

visit their sites. :)

you could just buy a pack of dual layer DVD's, that would solve your problem

Wait... is the 4G limit a result of WinPE/VFAT's limitation (in which the installation program run)

or

is it just a about the size of a single-layer DVD?
